Life with my wife, Sabrina, is deeply fulfilling, and our journey has taken us to some incredible places. After more than 30 years in Palm Springs, I made one of the best decisions of my life in 2017: moving to the high desert. The change of pace and the wide-open landscapes have been nothing short of transformative. The desert has a way of slowing you down, inviting you to notice the little things—the subtle colors of the sand at sunset, the quiet hum of the wind through Joshua trees. We’re committed to preserving this fragile beauty as members of the Mojave Desert Land Trust, because protecting these landscapes is more than a passion—it’s a responsibility.
Classic films, timeless cars, and music that hits the soul make me happy—but nothing beats my home studio, where my creativity has no rules. Who knows what magic I’ll cook up next!

I have always been drawn to drafting and architectural drawings, but it wasn’t until my time at the Palm Springs Art Museum—as a member, volunteer, and employee—that that fascination truly began to take shape. Surrounded by a community of artists who became like family, I discovered how to transform my attraction into the art I create today. A guiding light in this journey was Ellie Smith, who opened my eyes to the magic of working with glass. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in my heart. A photograph of Ellie hangs in my studio, a daily reminder of inspiration, mentorship, and the beauty of shared creativity.
